Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for an individual with an interest in grassroots marketing to assist our owner/operator in various marketing activations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, social media, newsletters, online presence, in store and out of store event organization, following up with leads, and assisting with our overall marketing strategy. This position will also work as a FIT Specialist on our sales floor for 2-3 shifts each week (20 hours on average).

Job Description


  • Implement day-to-day social media strategy and online presence including Facebook, Instagram, Google,, and our email newsletter.

  • Assist in organizing in store and out of store marketing events by coordinating with all stakeholders including store managers, medical marketing coordinator, our vendors and local organizations.

  • Taking initiative on creating marketing leads from nothing and establishing new referral relationships.

  • Follow up with marketing leads presented from our online presence, store managers, and owner/operator.

  • Assist store managers and owner/operator in developing and implementing our overall marketing strategy.

FIT Specialist:

  • Work with customers to ensure the proper fit of footwear, apparel and accessories by utilizing our fit process; promote in-store events and training programs.

  • Be proactive in learning the details of each shoe, apparel, and accessory line in the store, as well as the products fit and function.

  • Work one-on-one and as a team to ensure each customer receives a unique customer experience from the sales floor to the cash wrap.

  • Build genuine relationships with customers through active listening.

  • Determine the customer’s needs and offer suggestions or alternatives.

  • Help to maintain organization, cleanliness, and stock storewide.


Bachelor’s degree or relevant field experience is preferred.  

  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

  • Well-organized with a team-oriented approach

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, social media websites/apps, Adobe Creative Suite, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

  • Understanding or adeptness at internal file management tools, file sharing platforms, and digital and graphics signage software

  • Superb written communication skills with attention to detail on punctuation, grammar, and brevity

  • Polished communication skills as it relates to people

  • Photography experience or interest with a DSLR camera is a bonus
