We believe running is for everybody. Doing a 5K is fun, and sometimes you want to go even further. So even if you have never run before or are a veteran of the 5K distance, Breaking Boundaries 10K training is the program for you (10K is 6.2 miles). Check out more information below.
The Breaking Boundaries program is designed to help people who are currently inactive get moving, and help those that are comfortable running a 5K to push their distance even further. We build on our No Boundaries 5K training program to get you comfortable and confident running your best 10K (6.2 miles).
You will train with, and be supported by, a group of people that are in your position and striving for the same goals. The program has 4 training days a week, with two of those being fully supported sessions starting at the store. You will also have mentors providing motivation and guidance along the way to maximize your potential. This program will take you beyond the 5K distance, and help you finish a 10K strong.
Want to run a half marathon? Breaking Boundaries 10K training is a great way to build your strength and mileage up to prepare for our next half marathon training program. *Training based on intervals*
Breaking Boundaries 10K is designed to get you across the finish line in 16 weeks, teaching you the essentials of training effectively and building a good run/walk base. For the more advanced runner Breaking Boundaries II is the next step and will incorporate strategies like speed work to increase your speed and stamina.
