We believe running is for everybody. Doing a 5K is fun, and sometimes you want to go even further. So even if you have never run before or are a veteran of the 5K distance, Breaking Boundaries is the program for you. Check out more information below.
The Breaking Boundaries program is designed to help people who are currently inactive get moving, and help those that are comfortable running a 5K to push their distance even further. We build on our No Boundaries 5K training program to get you comfortable and confident running your best 10K (6.2 miles) or half marathon.
You will train with, and be supported by, a group of people that are in your position and striving for the same goals. The 12 week program has two group workouts per week. Speed and strength work on Wednesday evenings, 6:45pm at the Brandeis High School track and long runs Saturday mornings, 7am Leon Creek Greenway, Valero Trailhead at 1604 & IH10.
Breaking Boundaries is designed to get you across the finish line in 12 weeks, teaching you the essentials of training effectively and building a good run/walk base.
